As Senior Merchant for Makeup at Sephora, she led a $2B business, building and mentoring cross-functional teams, forging partnerships with founders and CEOs, and shaping the strategic direction for 40+ brands. Sunia played a pivotal role in launching and scaling Sephora @ Kohl’s — a landmark retail partnership that brought prestige beauty to over 1,200 stores nationwide, while championing BIPOC-founded and emerging brands that redefined the category.
Previously, as Global Buyer at Pottery Barn Kids + Teen, she spearheaded the brand’s international expansion across the Middle East, India, South Korea, and Australia, driving growth through locally resonant, globally relevant strategies.
Through Sunia Pervez Collective, she now partners with founder-led and high-growth brands to refine positioning, accelerate distribution, and scale with intention. Her approach blends data-driven strategy with creative storytelling—anchored in inclusivity, purpose, and long-term brand equity.
